1. Introduction

This policy describes how personal data is processed in connection with the website stanza27.com, and which cookies and similar technologies it uses, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Italian Privacy Code) and the guidelines on cookies issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority on 10 June 2021.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not use cookies. It stores information in your browser’s local storage only in the cases described below. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us or to third parties.

If your browser is set to Italian, the English page offers a link to the Italian version under the title: if you follow it, or pick a language in the language switch, your choice is stored (s27_lang), so that the link is not offered again. If you object to website statistics (section 5), your choice is stored (s27_stats). Both are technical and do not require consent.

4. Website statistics

This website uses Matomo, an open-source analytics software, installed on the same server as the website. The information collected includes the pages and sections viewed, interactions with the website (such as enabling the sound or clicking the contact links), the referring website, the type of device, browser and operating system, the screen size, the approximate geographical location (country), and the time and length of the visit.

Matomo is configured so that no cookies are set and no identifier is stored on your device; IP addresses are shortened (the last two bytes removed) before being stored, so that they no longer identify you; browsers that send a Do Not Track request are not tracked. The data is used solely to produce aggregate statistics on how the website is used: it is not combined with other data, not disclosed to third parties, and not used for profiling or advertising purposes. Under the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority, analytics tools with these characteristics are treated as technical cookies and do not require consent.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used and improving it (art. 6.1.f GDPR). The data is retained for 14 months.

5. Objecting to website statistics

You can object to website statistics at any time below. Your choice is stored in this browser, and from then on no data about your visits is collected. If you use another browser or device, or delete your browser’s data, you will need to object again.

Website statistics in this browser: active.

6. Other personal data

If you contact us by email, the personal data you provide (your email address and the content of your message) is processed solely to respond to your request and, where applicable, to perform a contract. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures (art. 6.1.b GDPR). Correspondence is retained for as long as necessary for these purposes and, for invoices and contracts, for the period required by law.

7. Recipients of the data

The website and its statistics are hosted by the website’s hosting provider, which acts as a data processor. Personal data is not sold or disclosed to any other third party. The link to LinkedIn leads to a third-party website, which is subject to its own privacy policy.

8. Your rights

Under articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of its processing and its portability, and to object to its processing. Requests can be sent to the controller by email.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated, for example following changes to the website or to the applicable law. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of its last update.
